Daisy Petal Designs in Brava Magazine

A while back I mentioned that my headbands were going to be featured in a local Madison, WI magazine, Brava. Well the issue was in my mailbox today! I was so excited to share it with all of you!



The Style Editor, Mollie Shambeau, did a great little wrote up on how to wear the new headband trend. I know I hear so often "I love you headbands, but I just can't wear a headband". Mollie tells you why you should give it another try, and I love her for it. You can find the feature online here.

Trying to keep up...

I feel like I've been neglecting the blog in the last month, and I'm sorry about that. I've been pretty busy with the shop, and life in general. But I do have some exciting things to share, about the shop at least.
First of all I've been lucky enough to have been featured in some treasuries. A treasury, for those of you not familiar, is a collection of Etsy user selected items posted to share with the Etsy community. At times a treasury may be selected for the holy grail of Etsy, the FRONT PAGE! Here are some screen shots of two of the three I was featured in. I missed getting a screen shot of one of them.



The next exciting new is I was recently contacted by a local magazine here in Madison, BRAVA. They asked if they could include my headbands in a feature for next months issue! Of course! I dropped off the headbands yesterday to the most adorable Mollie. Mollie is the fashion editor, and has a great blog for the magazine here. While I was there I was also lucky enough to meet Kristin the magazine Art Editor, who is equally adorable and has an Etsy shop as well! Check out Kristin's fine work at 622press With these girls on the job I'm more than excited to be involved with BRAVA, thanks Mollie and Kristin!

OK so that's much of it for now. I promise to try to keep everyone updated as things move along.

New Shop URL

I just wanted to let you all know the shop is moving on Etsy. Make a note of the new URL, and then go give it a look. All new listings are going in the NEW shop here (www.daisypetaldesigns.etsy.com)
The current inventory in the old shop (www.madiesmommy.etsy.com) is slowly moving over. In other words if you had a favorite and it's gone check the new shop.

Sorry I've been neglecting the blog a little. Things have been busy, but I've got some great things to share with you guys.
